Corban Campbell got a sick photo on the contents page of the new ESM. Go grab a copy and check it out! Enjoy!
ERGO was doing work on Go Skateboarding Day. We left NC at 6:30 am in route meet up with the van in Norfolk VA at Northside Skate Plaza. The park was packed and it was hot. No worries though ERGO came through with a huge cooler of free water and and a grill pumping out hot dogs for everyone. Oh, and did I mention free chips and stickers. Best combo meal you will ever get. Over 150 kids came out to the park and enjoyed Go SkateBoarding Day and ERGO was stoked to be there. We feed kids and tossed out a bunch of gear in the big bowl. Much thanks to the Northside Skate Plaza and Roberto Ramos for letting ERGO be there to help out. After sweating it out and cooking hot dogs, Kris and I set out for Virginia Beach. We stopped into Cardinal Skate Shop and meet/surprised owner Jason D. Hawkes. He was stoked Markovich stopped by. He already had a piece of art work by Markovich on the wall in the shop sent to him and now Kris was about to paint on the walls in his shop. What was planned as a quick stop turn into a 3 hour meet. In the end Kris painted the wall in the shop and even hooked up the box the crew skates one as well. Much thanks to Jason and the local crews who stopped by. Look for ERGO real soon at Cardinal Skate Shop in Virginia Beach VA.
Go Skate Day was a day of epic proportion. We rolled up to Republik of Kalifornia in the quite little town of San Clemente. We opened up the ERGO van, plopped the grill down on the side walk, and kicked off go skate day. The day was full of sunshine, good times, eating more hot dogs than any of should have, and of course a fun skate session at the San Clemente Skate Park. Ill let the photos tell the rest of the story. Here a photo of local shop kid Donavon doing an old hippie over chair with Dog in Hand and check out Jose Magra sickness frontside Indy’s. That definetley deserves a dog!
Albee Layer, Dege O’Connell, Matt Meola and Hank Gaskell have already been chosen to live an amazing life, but it might get even better… Especially after they win this contest. Anyway, the Chomp Proper Crew just uploaded their clip. Enjoy!
Just got a google alert with this clip. Kris Markovich’s part from Union Wheels video Right to Skate. If my calculations are correct its 19 yrs old. Is this not one of the first tech/gnarly video parts ever? Enjoy!
