Tons of miles, people, skating, and good times. What better place to end your skate tour than with the guys that drive the industry in a major way…With our homies over at SPoT. Brian Schaefer opened up his bar/cafe, The Bricks and SPoT Skateshop a year ago in YBOR CITY. It was time for them to celebrate their efforts and get weird again in YBOR. We got the nod to come into town and celebrate with the SPoT crew and to session the mini ramp behind the bar. With little to no room on the deck, everyone was trying to nail bangers all afternoon and into the evening.. It got pretty crazy back there. The guys were sessioning hard, groms were going for broke, the party was pumping in and out of the bar, the food was insane as usual, and the crowd full of family and friends was once again a ton of fun to party with.. I definitely had my fair share of $2 PBR’s…
KM had painted a mural the day before in the back courtyard.. Despite falling off the ladder and into the iron gates, he was able to finish another amazing piece and somehow wake up the next day ready to skate! If you stop by the bar, be on the lookout for some signature KM faces lurking in random spots all over the bar… If you get in there this month, his art will still be displayed and for sale off the wall. Go pick up a gem!
Ybor once again proved to bring out the weird…good times with the team guys, better “people” watching, and laughable lines into clubs watching under 21 party people wait all night to never get in the said club.
Rob Meronek from SPoT once again held it down on the stills and sequences.. How about Hale’s WALLRIDE BACK NOSEBLUNT and KM’s 5050 TO FAKIE on that pole!?!?!?
Thanks to Brian Schaefer and the SPoT/Bricks crew for once again making us all feel so at home while on the road charging..

HERE’S JOE PELHAM’S VIDEO EDIT OF THE EVENT… ENJOY IT BECAUSE WE DID!!
